Mission

The CFO is leading the company from a financial perspective. You will work as part of the management team and take ownership of all company financial, fiscal and regulatory matters. To do well in this role you should have experience as a CFO in a fast-growing company with related financial challenges. You also take ownership of the ISAE 3402 (SOC1), SOC2 and ISO27001 accreditations and certifications.

Experience in a scale-up company is a bonus.

Controller/CFO RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
  • Lead multi-year and annual budgeting processes; drive building business cases for each initiative, prioritize and understand opportunity costs and trade-offs
  • Drive resource allocation decisions: what should they fund and where should they invest?
  • Provide hands-on, metrics driven financial leadership to help accelerate growth and provide the Executive team with “operational insight” to better manage the business
  • Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
  • Oversee and manage the company’s (fiscal) activity, including budgeting, project and financial reporting, and auditing.
  • Assure legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations. (ISAE3402, SOC2, ISO 27001)
  • Identify and address financial risks and opportunities for the company, including leading equity and debt funding processes
  • Internal and external Financial reporting Review financial reports for ways to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Work with the CEO, CTO and COO to develop and execute on the business plan.


Controller/CFO REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
  • Experience in a senior management position.
  • Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting.
  • Experience with corporate governance.
  • Proven communication skills.
  • Experience with budget and project management, public accounting, and cash flow.
  • Experience with maintaining the ISMS
  • Experience in document management
  • Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions.
  • Ability to inspire confidence and create trust.
  • Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively and delegate.

Timely reporting including financial, productivity and operational analyses – including sensitivity assessments
Solid finance function that is driving value creation through accurate finance forecasts and data driven decision support
